Owner of Wright Design Associates, Arlene Wright has over 35 years experience as a designer and space-planner of fine private homes, churches, all types of offices and restaurants, both old and newly-built. She has extensive experience designing kitchens, baths, lighting and historic color schemes. Arlene is a specialist in helping seniors move from their family homes to assisted living facilities. She is able to make each client's new home feel comfortable and familiar, using their favorite pieces in their new environment. Each project reflects the style and taste of her clients while meeting their needs and achieving the highest degree of functionality and aesthetics in their workplace or home. Project 1

Arlene Wright, ASID, an award-winning interior designer from Rochester, New York, has specialized in preservation design for over 20 years and is considered an expert in 19th and early 20th century American architecture and design. She has lectured widely on historic preservation, adaptive re-use and local history in her community and beyond. As an active preservation advocate, Arlene has taught heritage education to thousands of Rochester-area youngsters and adults. She is a past-president of The Landmark Society of Western New York, founding chair of her local Historic Preservation Commission and past-president of the regional chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers). A New York State Certified Interior Designer, she currently serves as vice-chairman of the New York State Interior Design Board.
